Two people are dead after a gunman opened fire at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

According to CNN, the shooting was reported at 8:40am, and two “male victims” and two Glock guns were found in an office at Forbes Hall. New reports say an airman shot his squadron commander, but few details are available at this time.

“We have two dead at Lackland Air Force Base, deputies are still inside the building,” the Sheriff’s Department said on Twitter.

The U.S. Air Force uses Lackland to conducts it’s basic training for enlistees. It is also one of three large facilities, the others being Fort Sam Houston and Randolph Air Force Base, that merged to form Joint Base San Antonio in 2010.
