A large explosion took place in the southern Turkish city of Diyarbakir on Thursday when a car bomb exploded near a crowded bus stop.
According to The Political Insider, the car bomb exploded as a minibus carrying police special forces drove by. Four officers died in the attack, and at least 14 others were injured. The bombing came one day before Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is scheduled to make a rare visit to Diyarbakir.
