One of the most important aspects of the 2016 presidential election is that the winner will get to nominate at least a few judges to the Supreme Court. Should Hillary Clinton win, she will nominate hardcore liberals to the highest court in the land, placing many of our fundamental rights in jeopardy.
During a speech on Sunday night, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump promised to do everything he can to ensure this does not happen, and to get judges on the Supreme Court that will protect our constitutional rights.
“I’m going to get a list of anywhere from five to 10 judges, and those are going to be the judges that I’m going to put in,” declared Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club headquarters in Florida, according to Conservative Tribune.
“It will be one of those judges, and I will guarantee it personally, like we do in the world of business, which we don’t like to do too often,” Trump continued. “But I will guarantee it that those are going to be the first judges that I put up for nomination if I win. And that should solve the problem, and I think that’s a good idea, right?”
We’re incredibly received to see that Trump is already thinking about appointing judges to the Supreme Court that will protect our constitutional rights. What do you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
