Former House Speaker John Boehner endorsed his choice for the Republican presidential nominee on Wednesday, and he picked someone that nobody was expecting.
According to Breitbart, Boehner endorsed current House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) for the presidential nomination if the race goes to a brokered convention.
“If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above,” Boehner said. “They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”
This is just the latest attempt by the GOP establishment to take frontrunner Donald Trump down. They can try endorsing other possible candidates all they want, but it’s clear The Donald isn’t going anywhere!
