The world was deeply saddened when former first lady Nancy Reagan suddenly passed away on Sunday at the age of 94. Now, Hillary Clinton is shamelessly trying to use Nancy’s death to make herself look more “human.”
Though there was never any love lost between the two former first ladies, Hillary announced on Tuesday that she will be taking time off on Friday to attend Nancy’s funeral.
“@HillaryClinton is going to drop off the trail briefly on Friday to attend Nancy Reagan’s funeral services in California,” Hillary’s spokesman Nick Merrill tweeted, according to Daily Mail.
The Clintons had previously released the following joint statement about Nancy’s death:
“Hillary and I were deeply saddened to learn of Nancy Reagan’s passing. Nancy was an extraordinary woman: a gracious First Lady, proud mother, and devoted wife to President Reagan—her Ronnie.
Her strength of character was legendary, particularly when tested by the attempted assassination of the President, and throughout his battle with Alzheimer’s.
She leaves a remarkable legacy of good that includes her tireless advocacy for Alzheimer’s research and the Foster Grandparent Program. We join all Americans in extending our prayers and condolences to her beloved children and her entire family during this difficult time.”
The last thing the Reagan family needs during their time of grief is the Clintons running around trying to soak up all the attention they can for Hillary. SHARE if you think Hillary needs to stay AWAY from Nancy Reagan’s funeral!
