The UK is in panic mode today after their terror chief spoke out to warn people that British police are preparing for an “enormous and spectacular” terrorist attack as ISIS moves into it’s “next natural phase.”
Mark Rowley, assistant commissioner of London’s Metropolitan Police, said that after the Paris terrorist attacks, ISIS has moved from a “narrow focus on police and military as symbols of the state, to something much broader.”
“You see a terrorist group that has big ambitions for enormous and spectacular attacks, not just the types that we’ve seen foiled to date,” he said, according to Allen B. West. He went on to cite the downing of Metrojet Flight 9268 as an example of this.
“In recent months we’ve seen a broadening of that, much more plans to attack Western lifestyle, and obviously the Paris attacks in November,” Rowley continued. “Going from that narrow focus on police and military as symbols of the state to something much broader. And you see a terrorist group which has big ambitions for enormous and spectacular attacks, not just the types that we’ve seen foiled to date.”
“You see a terrorist group that whilst on the one hand has been acting as a cult to use propaganda to radicalise people to act in their name … you also see them trying to build bigger attacks,” he added.
Though Obama still won’t call ISIS an “islamic threat,” we’re glad that other world leaders aren’t that cowardly. SHARE this story if you think we need to take ISIS out NOW!
