Sources are speculating that former presidential candidate Jim Webb is about to reenter the race, as he is set to talk about the possibility of this in Northern Texas today.
According to CBS Local, Webb will be talking about his plans to make another run for the White House addresses the Dallas World Affairs Council at the Belo Mansion this afternoon.
Webb joined the race in July of 2015, but he dropped out in October after he said that he was “not comfortable” with many of the Democratic Party’s political positions. However, speculation that he would reenter the race began almost immediately after he dropped out, as he said he would consider exploring an Independent bid.
This will come as very bad news to Hillary Clinton, as she can barely handle competing with one candidate in Bernie Sanders. Webb reentering the race would likely cause her to lose even more votes, giving Sanders an even bigger lead over her.
