On Sunday, the Indiana University-Purdue University campus shut down after shots were reportedly fired.
According to Daily Mail, students were alerted via Twitter to an “assault with shots fired” on Sunday morning. They were told the suspect and victim were “known to each other,” but were not given any further information.
The suspect is still on the loose and is believed to be driving a pickup truck. School officials told students to “trust your instincts” and “if you are not in the area, stay away.”
“Situation near Rotary Building, Eskenazi involves parties known to each other,” the University added. “There is no known threat to the campus community at this time.”
Please pray for the students at this college. We hope no lives are lost!
