Network Exec Admits ‘The View’ Is A ‘Sinking Ship’ – It’s About To Be Cancelled

It’s been obvious for a long time that the liberal talk show The View is on it’s last legs, but now it has been officially confirmed by ABC.

After the show’s recent drama with the offensive comments they have made about women, an anonymous executive with ABC has admitted that the show will likely be cancelled at the end of this season.

“You can’t keep hiring and firing, trying to save a sinking ship,” the insider said, according to American News. “There is no leadership on the show. It’s the news division that pays for The View, so the debate is now whether the show is iconic enough to pour money into revamping, or do away with all together. At this stage, the feeling is that it’s pretty much done. They may test a remodeled version for one more reason, but that would require work and top brass aren’t sure that it is worth it.”

Another source said that ABC is considering giving Good Morning America the time slot that The View currently holds, giving the popular morning show an extra hour of television.

We can only hope that these reports are accurate, and that The View will be off the air by next year!
