Oregon Shooter’s Mom Speaks Out To SLAM Gun Laws

Last week, we reported that another school shooting took place at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, and it claimed the lives of at least ten people. Within hours of the shooting, President Obama already shamelessly used this tragedy to push his own ridiculous anti-gun agenda.

Now, it has been revealed that shooter Chris Harper-Mercer’s mother is a staunch pro-gun advocate who has spoken out against America’s anti-gun laws. According to CNN, Laurel Harper’s online posts reveal that her family has always been very familiar with firearms.

“I keep all my mags full. I keep two full mags in my Glock case. And the ARs & AKs all have loaded mags. No one will be ‘dropping’ by my house uninvited without (acknowledgment),” Laurel wrote under the online username “Tweety Bird.”

In another post from six years ago, Tweety Bird was asked how a gunman should be charged and sentenced. She replied that gun laws should apply, citing “my son, who has much knowledge in this field.”

Laurel Harper also wrote online that both she and her son suffer from Asperger’s Syndrome, which is a form of autism.

Liberals are trying to use Laurel’s posts as evidence that families that own guns are inherently violent. However, conservatives have pointed out that Laurel’s posts reveal that the real issue here is mental illness, not guns.
