A few weeks ago, Pope Francis visited the United States and shamelessly submitted to Obama’s agendas. Now, Christians and non-Christians alike are turning on the pope, with many accusing him of being the antichrist.
According to Charismanews, the pope’s approval rating in the U.S. has plummeted from 76% a year ago to 56% today. Roman Catholics have also turned on the pope, with many witnesses to his coronation describing him as “Spirit-filled.”
“The decline comes as Francis has changed the focus of his public remarks from that of his immediate predecessors, concentrating less on the Church’s opposition to abortion and gay marriage and spending more of his time discussing social inequity and poverty,” wrote Reuters‘ Scott Malone.
In his time as pope, Francis has slammed capitalism while also being far more lenient on anti-Christian practices like homosexuality. Perhaps most disturbingly of all is the fact that he has warmed up to Islam like no other pope before. Last year, he opened the Vatican for Muslim prayers and Quran readings. He also met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli President Shimon Peres for prayers.
“It is my hope that this meeting will mark the beginning of a new journey where we seek the things that unite, so as to overcome the things that divide,” Francis said at the time. “Peacemaking calls for courage, much more so than warfare. It calls for the courage to say yes to encounter and no to conflict.”
Many saw this as Pope Francis moving towards a one world religion.
Each of these instances have caused many to wonder if Pope Francis really is the antichrist. Only time will tell…
