Last night was the second GOP debate, and afterwards frontrunner Donald Trump was declared the undisputed winner once again.
Knowing that the Republican candidates were about to annihilate his abysmal presidential record, Obama tried to attack the group of GOP candidates, saying that there is “nothing particularly patriotic” about them.
“Despite the perennial doom and gloom that I guess is inevitably part of a presidential campaign, America is winning right now,” Obama said during a meeting of the Business Roundtable in Washington. “America is great right now. We can do even better.”
Obama pointed to the stock market, job creation, and Obamacare as reasons why he has been a good president. Right…
“You wouldn’t know any of this if you were listening to the folks seeking this office that I occupy,” Obama told the group of skeptical executives.
“In the echo chamber that is presidential politics, everything is dark and everything is terrible,” he continued, according to CNN. “They don’t seem to offer many solutions to the disasters they perceive, but they’re quick to tell you who to blame. There’s nothing particularly patriotic or American about talking down America, especially when we stand as one of the few sources of economic strength in the world.”
Unfortunately for Obama, his attempts to destroy the GOP candidates failed miserably. Millions of people tuned into the debate, and viewers then dubbed Trump the runaway winner once again.
Sorry, Obama, but your days in the White House are numbered!
