A surprise candidate dropped a major hint this week that he may be joining the 2016 presidential race.
According to Breitbart, California Governor Jerry Brown, 77, strongly suggested on Wednesday that he is considering making a play for the 2016 Democratic nomination for president.
When CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Brown why he had not yet endorsed Hillary Clinton for president, or if he would be advising Joe Biden about entering the race, his ambiguous response left everyone stunned.
“I’ll jump in at the appropriate time,” the governor replied, suggesting that he might indeed be jumping into the race himself.
Numerous Democrats have expressed hopes that the fourth-term governor would enter the race. If he were to jump in, Brown would be the most experienced candidate in the field. He firmly stands with liberals on many of their sentiments including climate change, immigration, and many social issues, while also taking a pragmatic approach to spending.
While we can’t say we would EVER vote for Brown, we’re almost willing to take anyone at this point over Hillary…
