Last week, we reported that authorities were considering charging Caitlyn Jenner with vehicular manslaughter for a fatal car accident she caused back in February. Prosecutors are still deciding whether or not to charge Jenner, and the reality TV star recently broke her silence about the incident and her fears about jail.
During an interview with Matt Laurer for the Today show, Jenner denied that she did anything wrong in the crash, despite all the evidence to the contrary. After claiming that she was not speeding at the time of the accident, Jenner changed her story and said that her memories of the crash are very hazy.
“I remember it happening. That’s about it,” Jenner said of the crash, according to Daily Mail. “A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”
When Laurer asked Jenner about the prospect of going to jail, Jenner revealed what she is REALLY afraid of in this case.
“The media wants that picture, don’t they?” Jenner said of her potential mugshot, according to Breitbart. “That is the worst-case scenario… The men’s county jail. That’s the scary part. It is an enormous problem that they would put trans women in a men’s county jail.”
It looks like despite all the work she’s done for her “transition,” Jenner may end up back with the guys after all! Oh, the irony…
