Protesters Harass Ted Cruz At Restaurant, But It Doesn’t End Well For Them…

2016 Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has gotten flack from both sides of the political spectrum because he has been outspoken about his support for Donald Trump.

Last night, Cruz was out having dinner with Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson in Little Rock when some protesters decided to express their anger for the candidate. Unfortunately for the activists, this turned out to be a huge mistake…

According to Conservative Tribune, the protesters began yelling and blocked customers from leaving the restaurant. Then, fed-up staffers at the restaurant poured buckets of cold water on the liberal activists from a second floor balcony.

“We wanted to make sure that (Cruz) heard from us,” protester Robert Nunn said of the humiliating incident.

“I looked up and I saw, it was clearly one of the employees, he had a white jacket on and he had a bucket and I was like, ‘Hmm, what’s going on with that?’” Nunn told the press. “And before I knew what happened, he had dumped it.”

Nunn is hearing impaired and wears hearing assistance gear, so now he is whining that the restaurant could have inflicted serious harm on him with the water.

“If I had been suddenly splashed with water and these electronics would’ve been damaged, it would’ve cost quite a bit to replace,” he said.

“Because of how outrageous it was, the things going through my head were like, did it just start raining, that sort of thing, because it didn’t even process for a while that someone would actually dump a bucket of water out on someone,” added protester Ryan Cates.

After receiving backlash from angry liberals, the restaurant has issued an apology for what happened.

“This was a heat of the moment action driven by frustration; these actions were in no way, shape or form politically motivated,” Cache co-owner and executive chef Payne Harding said in a statement. “Customers were having difficulty entering and exiting the restaurant and I thought it was causing a problem for my business. I did not know who the protesters were or what they were protesting.”

We think the restaurant staffers gave those protesters EXACTLY what they deserved! What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
