Bristol Palin knows what it’s like to be targeted by the media for her conservative views, so when she saw Donald Trump being attacked for the same thing, she knew she had to say something.
Raised by her mother to always tell it like it is, Bristol wrote a blog post on Monday in which she slammed both the liberal and conservative media for the way they’ve dealt with Trump.
“It’s official,” she wrote, according to The Blaze. “I used to use this blog to point out how liberals use the ‘outrage industry’ to manipulate people and keep their power. Now Republicans are just as bad.”
Bristol went on to slam RedState editor Erick Erickson who rescinded an invite for Trump to speak at a conservative gathering because he implied that Megyn Kelly came after him at the debate because she is menstruating. The 24 year-old wrote that Erickson is the last person who should be taking a stand for political correctness. She dropped a bombshell when she pointed out that Erickson had once allowed a fake cleavage-showing picture of Governor Palin on Santa’s lap to run as authentic.
“The picture of my mom sitting on Santa’s lap, with her apparently perky boobs hanging out, is CLEARLY photo shopped,” Palin wrote. “Anyone can point that out from a mile away.”
“Don’t act dumb and put your hands up in the air now, Mr. Erickson,” Palin continued, according to Breitbart. “I called you out for the hypocrisy you have shown Mr. Trump, by suddenly acting like you are the standard bearer of decency toward women.”
We applaud Bristol for defending both Donald Trump and her mother. Keep telling it like it is, Bristol!
