It was the one year anniversary of Michael Brown’s death this past weekend, and since then the Black Lives Matter protests have heated up once again.
The protesters new strategy has been to hijack political events for cowardly Democrat candidates like Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley. This week, they tried to switch things up by attacking a GOP event.
Unfortunately for them, this turned out to be a HUGE mistake.
According to Conservative Tribune, protesters barged into a town hall meeting for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in North Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday. The race-baiting activists ran in screaming “black lives matter,” but the crowd of patriotic Republicans at the event weren’t having any of it.
The proud Republicans came together to drown out the activists by chanting “white lives matter” and “all lives matter.” The situation became so heated that the two groups almost came to blows.
If this were a Trump event, the protesters would have probably gotten exactly what was coming to them. However, since Bush was hosting the event, he eventually submitted to the activists and left the stage without delivering a closing statement.
The conservative attendees, however, stayed behind to fight the protesters.
“We may have our gripes, but there are other ways to deal with them,” attendee Richard Carreon said. “I’m not a fan of the president, but he is the president. I would never do to him what these folks did to Jeb. There are better ways to effect change than yell at a town hall.”
It’s sickening that Black Lives Matter protesters are being permitted to behave in such a classless way. We DARE them to try to hijack a Trump event!
