Last week was the first Republican debate, and the polls revealed that most Americans believe that Trump won by a landslide. However, after Trump’s campaign was hit with “bloodgate” over the weekend, many thought Trump’s campaign was in big trouble as he declared war on Fox News.
On Monday, however, Trump put these fears to rest when he revealed that his war with Fox is over.
“Roger Ailes just called,” Trump tweeted, referring to the head of Fox. “He is a great guy & assures me that ‘Trump’ will be treated fairly on @FoxNews. His word is always good!”
This came just hours after Trump tweeted that he has no problem feuding with Fox News.
“The fact is that I think I don’t get treated well by Fox, and that’s all right because look what happens,” Trump wrote, according to Daily Mail. “I don’t understand it myself. I mean, I have double-digit leads in every poll.”
It remains to be seen whether the feud between Fox and Trump is really over, but we hope they can find a way to get along again!
