Last night was the first GOP debate, and today’s polls revealed that most Americans believe that Trump won by a landslide.
Many believed that Fox’s moderators, particularly Megan Kelly, were coming after Trump during the debate and trying to make him slip up. Afterwards, the business mogul revealed just how angry about this he was.
“The questions to me were far tougher, and that I — supposedly, according to what everyone’s telling me, I won the debate, according to the call-ins and everything,” Trump said after the debate, according to Infowars. “But the questions to me were not nice, I didn’t think they were appropriate, and I think Megyn behaved very badly personally.”
Trump cited the following exchange with Kelly in which she brought up “sexist” remarks he made about women in the past:
“You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, snobs and disgusting animals,” Kelly said.
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump interrupted to laughter.
“For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell,” Kelly said. “Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. You once told a contestant on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president, and how will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton — who is likely to be the Democratic nominee — that you are part of the ‘war on women?’”
“They weren’t even questions, they were statements that they asked,” Trump said of the exchange afterwards. Trump’s lawyer took to Twitter to let the world know how frustrated he was with Fox.
Trump also took to Twitter to slam both Fox and Kelly.
