For the last few weeks, we have been reporting on Donald Trump, who found himself the target of liberal backlash after he criticized the U.S.’s relationship with Mexico during his campaign announcement.
While many didn’t take Trump seriously as a presidential candidate at the beginning, that all changed last week when polls revealed that Trump is currently the frontrunner in the race for the GOP nomination.
A few weeks ago, Trump made headlines when he released the personal cellphone number of fellow GOP candidate, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. In a pathetic attempt at revenge, the liberal rag Gawker published Trump’s personal phone number earlier this week.
Unfortunately for Gawker, their lame attempt at revenge has backfired. According to The Verge, Trump has turned the number into a campaign advertisement. In fact, he has started tweeting the number himself in the hopes that more people will call it.
If you call that number, you will hear the following message:
Hi, this is Donald Trump and I’m running for the presidency of the United States of America. With your help and support, together we can make America truly great again. Visit me on Twitter, @realDonaldTrump, and visit my campaign website at www.donaldtrump.com. Hope to see you on the campaign trail. We’re going to do it.
Nice try, Gawker, but if you want to take Trump down, you’re going to need to do better than that!
