For the last few weeks, we have been reporting on Donald Trump, who found himself the target of liberal backlash after he criticized the U.S.’s relationship with Mexico during his campaign announcement.
While many didn’t take Trump seriously as a presidential candidate at the beginning, that all changed last week when polls revealed that Trump is currently the frontrunner in the race for the GOP nomination. Despite his success, the GOP establishment has been on a mission to take Trump down because he refuses to let them control him.
Of course, liberals have also been doing everything they can to portray Trump as negatively as possible. CNN’s Anderson Cooper tried to do just that during a Wednesday interview, but unfortunately for him, Trump wasn’t about to go down without a fight.
According to The Blaze, Trump became annoyed that Cooper only focused on “the negative,” and the business mogul lost it after Cooper cited a poll that he said he “didn’t even know existed.”
“I am leading across the board, and then you hit me with this poll that I didn’t even see before,” Trump said. “Let me tell you, the people don’t trust you and the people don’t trust the media.”
“Or politicians,” Cooper retorted.
Trump went on to complain that before he entered politics, he was portrayed “accurately” by the media. Sadly, those days are long gone.
“I find that 60-70 percent of the political media is really, really dishonest,” Trump lamented.
