Liberals have recently been on a mission to ban the Confederate flag, as well as any piece of American culture that includes it.
Unfortunately, this ban has reached the iconic 1980s TV series Dukes of Hazzard, whose reruns were just taken off the air at TV Land because they feature the Confederate flag.
“The Dukes of Hazzard was and is no more a show seated in racism than Breaking Bad was a show seated in reality,” said the show’s star John Schneider, ripping TV Land for their ridiculously politically correct decision. According to Headline Politics, he added that the show highlights the, “old-fashioned values it promotes, including honesty, courage, chivalry, and rebelliousness.”
Since the show was taken off the air, a clip has surfaced from a few years ago showing a “politically correct” Dukes of Hazzard. In the video, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy poke fun at liberals who strive for political correctness in every piece of our culture.
The funniest thing about this clip is it was made years ago, when it was impossible to imagine that liberals would ACTUALLY launch a campaign to get the show cancelled in a fight for political correctness. Oh, how far we’ve come!
