Celebrity chef Paula Deen has found herself in trouble with race baiters once again today after she posted a “racist” photo to her Twitter.
The image shows Deen smiling along with her 45 year-old son Bobby, who is wearing brown face. The duo appear to be dressed as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, stars of the iconic television show I Love Lucy.
According to Daily Mail, Paula captioned the photo, “Lucyyyyyyy! You got a lot of esplainin’ to do! #TransformationTuesday.” Though she quickly deleted the tweet, she is still receiving backlash from liberal race-baiters who are using it to reignite accusations of racism against the chef.
This comes two years after Paula was accused of using the N-word at one of her restaurants in a lawsuit by a former employee. Paula admitted to using the slur, and quickly offered a tearful apology in a video statement.
“I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I’ve done,” Deen said in the emotional video. “I want to learn and grow from this. Inappropriate and hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners, I beg for your forgiveness.”
Liberals, however, did not listen to her pleas for mercy. Paula was abruptly fired by the Food Network and lost many of her lucrative endorsement deals with companies like Walmart.
Earlier this year, Paula launched her own radio show called Get Cooking. She also conducts a weekly podcast.
It remains to be seen how Paula will be impacted by this new scandal.
