The Boston Red Sox’s third baseman Pablo Sandoval has been suspended from one game after he was caught liking pictures on a young woman’s Instagram page during a game.

The Red Sox were up to bat in the 7th inning against the Atlanta Braves recently when Sandoval said he had to go to the bathroom. While there, he liked the photos of female Instagram user “diva_legacy.” His team went on to lose the game 5-2.

According to American Overlook, Sandoval was caught by a sports blogger, who took a screenshot of the Instagram like and tweeted it along with the caption, “Not to blow up the dude’s spot, but uh…is Pablo Sandoval on Instagram during the game?”

The Red Sox have a clear social media policy that states that players are not allowed to use their cellphones during games. Because of this, Sandoval was kept on the bench during Thursday’s game.

“I know I f*cked up,” Sandoval told ESPN Thursday. “I made a mistake, I learned from that. I’m a human being, I made a mistake, so I apologize to my teammates, to the team, to the organization the fans support.”
