Three thugs have been arrested after they brutally assaulted a 25 year-old U.S. Army veteran outside a 7-11 in Michigan.
Veteran Adam Wagner was in the convenience store just before 2 a.m. when he noticed three punks harassing the female clerk. When he intervened, the men began harassing him instead, and the fight quickly escalated to the parking lot.
Once outside, the thugs noticed a military insignia on his vehicle, and began making derogatory comments about our nation’s military. They then pounced on Wagner, beating him to the ground and punching and kicking him repeatedly before fleeing the scene on foot.
However, Wagner wasn’t about to let them get away. Despite his injuries, he followed them as he tried to call 911, but the three “turned and attacked him again, knocking him to the ground while punching and kicking him.”
Wagner was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for a broken nose, head injuries, and facial lacerations.
After an exhaustive search, police finally arrested the three thugs. They were identified as a 37 year-old man and his 20 year-old nephew. The third was a 20 year-old friend of the nephew.
