Obama Disrespects Dead Veterans With Disturbing Speech

Memorial Day is a time to remember the veterans who fought and died for our country. This year, this holiday is even more important, considering the fact that Obama has turned his back on the men and women who fought and died for this country.

Since taking office, Obama has used veterans as political tools to further his own career, while not paying them the respect they deserve. Recently, he disrespected the men and women who have died for this country by telling a blatant lie to the press.

When Obama was originally running for president in 2008, he promised to leave a residual force in Iraq to ensure that the country wouldn’t collapse. When Bush left office, he left Iraq in stable condition thanks to the surge that Obama opposed and the sacrifices of thousands of servicemen and women who fought and died for this country.

Unfortunately, in 2011, withdrew all combat troops and left Iraq before the job was done. This allowed terrorist sects to regroup and become stronger, and today ISIS is running rampant around the region. They are set to become even stronger after Obama freed five Taliban leaders from Guantanamo. These men are now headed to the Middle East to return to their terrorist ways.

After these debacles, Obama finally agreed to a surge, but his plan was sloppy at best. He sent way fewer troops than were needed, and set a timeline for their withdrawal. This only resulted in more Americans being killed and Obama giving the terrorist groups even more confidence.

On home soil, Veteran Affairs hospitals are mistreating the military heroes who return home under Obama’s watchful eye.

Despite all of this, when recently asked about the status of the military, Obama did not speak about any of the hardships veterans face. Instead, he patted himself on the back for “winning.”

“I don’t think we’re losing,” Obama said proudly.

The only thing you’ve lost, Mr. President, is the respect of our nation. YOU aren’t winning anything in the Middle East. Instead, it is the men and women who risk their lives for our country every day that are winning. It is only thanks to them that we are safe, and we salute them!
