GRAPHIC: ISIS Ties ‘Spy’ To Cross, What They Do Next Is Horrifying

ISIS has become known for their incredibly disturbing execution videos in which they kill their hostages in sickeningly vicious ways.

Months ago, they sent fear down the spines of people all over the world when they released a series of videos in which they beheaded American and British Hostages. Then, they released a horrifying video of terrorists burning a Jordanian pilot alive in a cage.

Since the end of 2014, the ISIS execution videos have thankfully become more sporadic. Unfortunately, they have just released a new video, and this one is just as disturbing as it’s predecessors.

The four minute video is called “Deterring the Spies 1,” and it depicts a man who ISIS accuses of being a spy being tied to a cross. An ISIS militant hacks off the man’s right hand and left foot with a sword and then a hunting knife.

Before the execution, the prisoner is shown confessing to his “crimes.” A chilling verse from the koran is then shown onscreen, and it can be translated as, “The penalty for those who wage war against Allah and his messenger … is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land.”

Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi, an expert on the Middle East who watched the video, says that in the footage, militants mention four other “spies” who are still due to be executed. Because the video is called “Deterring the Spies 1,” experts believe it is only the first of a series of execution videos that is set to be released.
