Earlier today, Rachel Dolezal stepped down from her position as president of her NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington. Now, an image of Dolezal is going viral, and what she’s holding in it may surprise you.
The picture shows Dolezal teaching an African American studies class as she holds the book “How To Be Black.”
The photo was tweeted by Jonah Goldberg, a journalist with the National Review Online, and it quickly went viral.
Some have accused Goldberg of photoshopping the image, and while whether or not it is real remains unclear the book does indeed exist. It was written by Baratunde Thurston, a writer for satirical news site The Onion.
This picture is just the latest puzzling aspect in the story of Rachel Dolezal. What do you think about all of this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
