Last month, the nation was stunned when “peaceful” Muslims barged into a “Draw Muhammad” contest in Garland, Texas armed with guns and began shooting.
Now, some patriotic bikers have showed up outside a mosque in Phoenix, Arizona, and their plans may surprise you.
The bikers have planned an anti-Islam rally scheduled to take place at the Islamic Community Center in the Arizona city. The bikers have included a “draw Muhammad” contest in the festivities, which has left Muslims around the world enraged. One of the ISIS members who is a suspect in the Texas attack even posted the address of this rally online and urged his followers to attack this.
Despite the dangers, the bikers have no regrets. Jon Ritzheimer, one of the organizers of the rally, told the press that he had to do “something” t stop the spread of Islam in America.
“We’re just out utilizing our First Amendment rights,” he added, urging fellow bikers and Americans to show up armed to deter attempts by ISIS to attack the “peaceful” protest.
Phoenix police have stated that they will also be at the event just in case any violence takes place.
“Dealing with this type of activity is a challenge that is facing law enforcement across the country,” Phoenix police said in a statement. “Dealing with groups of protesters and opposing views is not the difficult part. Our goal and the real challenge are trying to anticipate unlawful activities that might occur in conjunction with these events.”
The Council on American-Islamic Relations has also released a statement on the rally.
“We thank law enforcement authorities for their proactive effort to ensure the safety of the mosque’s congregation from hate-filled and armed protesters,” said CAIR Arizona Chairman Imraan Siddiqi. “The promise of a heavy police presence at the rally of armed biker gang members will help calm fears of harassment and even attacks on worshipers.”
Of course, Siddiqi ignored the fact that police are not there to stop the bikers. Instead, they are there to protect the bikers from radical Islamists who want to ruin their protest in the name of the “religion of peace.”
