A classified State Department and U.S. Department of Defense document has revealed that Obama secretly wanted ISIS to be successful.
The document stated that for, “the West, Gulf countries, and Turkey (who) support the (Syrian) opposition … (T)here is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in Eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime.”
According to Conservative Tribune, the document was distributed to various government agencies in August of 2012.
The document was obtained by Judicial Watch, who announced that “this is the highest level internal U.S. intelligence confirmation” of the claim that Obama wanted to use the Islamic State group to aid his efforts in Syria. The president had reportedly known they were on the rise since 2012.
The document also expressed hopes to establish “safe havens” in parts of Syria that were captured by Islamic insurgents “similar to what transpired in Libya when Benghazi was chosen as the command center of the temporary government.”
In essence, Obama wanted to help ISIS become strong because he figured they would help him isolate Bashar al-Assad’s Syrian regime. Obama continued with this goal even after his administration failed miserably in protecting the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya during the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack there.
In case you had any doubt before, this document proves that Obama has absolutely no idea what he’s doing when it comes to foreign policy. Let’s just hope that we get him out of the White House before he helps even more of our enemies become stronger…
