This elderly thug definitely picked the wrong car to rob.
Hashim Fannin walked out of a Family Dollar store in an Atlanta suburb when he noticed a strange man inside his car. Instead of panicking, he calmly took action.
“I asked him to get out the car, probably not in those exact words,” Fannin later recounted, but the carjacker wouldn’t listen. We doubt the wannabe thief expected this to happen next…
Fannin drew his concealed gun on the carjacker, who was later identified as 61 year-old Edgar Horn, ordering him to get out of the car and lie face down on the pavement. A terrified Horn complied and begged for mercy, but Fannin wasn’t having any of it.
“I told him, ‘No, there’s no leaving, leaving was before you hopped into my car … at this point there is not leaving,’” Fannin said, adding that he said, “Just stay there and wait for the police.”
“Thought you were just gonna take my sh*t,” Fannin told the man as they waited for the cops to arrive. “You picked the wrong mother f***er to try to rob today.”
When police arrived on the scene, Fannin immediately handed over his weapon. The officers then thanked him for helping to protect their community.
“Honestly, I look at it like this. That is one less guy I got to worry about bothering my mom when she’s out grocery shopping,” Fannin concluded.
Thankfully, this proud American had a concealed gun, or else there’s no telling what would have happened!
