Shocking surveillance footage shows a thug pull a gun in the backseat of a police car.
Wesley Rogers, 21, was harassing a woman on a Minneapolis street corner at 4 in the afternoon. When police arrived on the seen, they noticed that he was “obviously intoxicated,” and when they patted him down they found an open bottle of liquor.
Instead of arresting him on the spot for public intoxication and having an open container, they decided to drive him home as a “courtesy.” This was nearly a deadly mistake for the officers.
The cops “heard a metal clunk” from the backseat when they were driving, so they pulled over to investigate. They were shocked to find that Rogers had pointed “a loaded .38 revolver” at them “while in a squad car.”
Luckily, the officers managed to get the gun away from him before he could fire it. Instead of getting taken home, Rogers was then taken right to jail.
