Last week, we reported that Tim Tebow was trying to make a return to the NFL by going out for the veteran combine. With the combine happening this weekend, Tebow just got some very good news.
Over the last few weeks, Tebow has been practicing with the Philadelphia Eagles, and sources close to the team say that if they can trade third string quarterback Matt Barkley, they’ll likely give Tebow a contract.
Diana Russini, sports anchor for NBC Washington, tweeted that there is an “80%” chance that the Eagles will sign Tebow.
Though Tebow had a rough start to his career, nobody can argue with the fact that he is still a gifted athlete. At only 27 years of age, Tebow still has time to show the world what he can do on the football field. It looks like his prayers have been answered!
