The Dem. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid got some very bad news today that could spell the end of his career.
Dr. Larry Sabato, a political science professor at University of Virginia, appeared on Fox News to say that Reid is “the most endangered Democrat on the ballot for Senate in 2016.”
Sabato pointed out that of all the senators elected from five or more terms, Reid has consistently come closest to losing to multiple GOP opponents.
According to the Conservative Tribune, the closest he came to losing was back in 1998, when he won by just 328 votes.
In 2016, Reid will likely face the popular Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, who was reelected in a landslide in the recent election.
“If they can get Sandoval to run, I think it’s possible either Reid will decide not to run again or he’ll be defeated,” Sabato said.
It is indeed very likely that the cowardly Reid will throw in the towel and not even try to run again if he thinks he might lose. This would come as a major victory to the GOP, as Reid is one of the most despised liberal senators around.
Finally, Reid’s reign of political terror may be coming to an end.
