Gifted Intern Leaves Wall Street For Porn Career

Just last week, 23 year-old Paige Jennings appeared to be on the road to a successful career on Wall Street. After graduating from University of Florida in the spring, she scored a high profile internship at an asset management firm, which was meant to last from June 2-January 9.

After her internship concluded, the firm asked Jennings to stay on with them, and her response was shocking. The young woman proudly announced that she would be leaving Wall Street for a life in porn.

“I just left a job on Wall Street for a porn career because I can’t stop masturbating at work …,” tweeted Jennings, who goes by the Twitter handle Veronica Vain.

After leaving school, Jennings immediately began her internship at Lazard Asset Management, but she quickly learned that Wall Street simply wasn’t for her.

“I have a finance degree and knew I wanted to apply it in business. I couldn’t find my sweet spot and I did think about how I’m sexual and how much I enjoy anything related to that,” Jennings said. “And I knew that’s never going to fly in a very conservative environment.”

The young college grad then turned to the internet to figure out what her next career move would be, and she quickly came upon The Sex Factor, which is an internet porn reality talent show. Jennings was intrigued, and sent in an audition tape. Within three hours, the show’s producer, Buddy Ruben, contacted her with an invitation to come audition in Las Vegas at the Adult Video News Awards.

“She speaks really well. She’s intelligent. She’s beautiful and she’s down for whatever,” Ruben said.

Jennings says she has hatched a plan that hinges on her making the cut for the show, which she’s confident she will do.

“I thought, if I was ever going to do porn, I was never going to come in (through) the bottom, where girls can get messed up, and beaten, and things like that,” Jennings said. “I was like, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it smart, I’m going to have control, I’m going to make a business out of it.”

“I saw this as an opportunity to get out there in a positive way and reach out to the top parts of the industry,” she added.

Jennings says that she quickly became bored with her stuffy Wall Street internship, and she took to taking nude selfies in her office bathroom to keep herself amused.

“I thought, I’ll just take selfies in the bathroom, that’ll play up,” she said.

“My (finance) group wanted me to continue. It was me (who didn’t want to). I said it’s not my industry,” Jennings added before saying that they offered her the chance to continue.

By that point, however, Jennings had already made her decision to leave, saying that Wall Street “seems like a world that can really suck the life out of women, and you have to sacrifice so much, so much to have even a shot at that game.”

While her decision may seem insane to some, Jennings says she has no regrets.

“No, I think I could tear this industry up … when it comes to scenes, it’s definitely going to be something to watch,” she said. “I’m confident in those abilities.”
