What Liam Neeson Just Said About Guns May Surprise You

In his new hit movie Taken 3, Liam Neeson spends the entire film shooting guns and killing bad guys. However, in real life, Neeson revealed this week that he is actually very much for gun control.

Neeson decided to speak out after the terrorist attacks in France, which he clearly blames on guns.

“There’s too many [expletive] guns out there,” he said. “Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace. Every week now we’re picking up a newspaper and seeing, ‘Yet another few kids have been killed in schools.’”

Neeson is ignoring statistics on guns, which reveal that 99% of gun owners have committed no crimes whatsoever. Sadly, the action movie star seems to have fallen victim to the liberal propaganda machine. Even worse, he is trying to justify the blatant hypocrisy of being anti-guns while playing vicious killer Bryan Mills in the Taken series.

“A character like Bryan Mills going out with guns and taking revenge: it’s fantasy. It’s in the movies, you know? I think it can give people a great release from stresses in life and all the rest of it, you know what I mean? It doesn’t mean they’re all going to go out and go, ‘Yeah, let’s get a gun!’” he said.

For someone who hates guns, Neeson sure has made quite a lot of money from them. He was paid $20 million for shooting Taken 3. If he thinks that movie could have been made without guns, he’s dreaming.
