The Obamas Caught Doing THIS On Day 1 Of Their Vacation

December 22, 2014 10:50am PST

Despite the fact that our country is currently dealing with numerous crises, the Obamas have begun their expensive 17 day vacation in Hawaii.

Day one of their getaway began with some quiet family time at home at their breathtaking vacation estate. It was a beautiful day in the seaside town of Kailua, and joggers ran past the Obama’s home taking little notice of the heightened security in the neighborhood.

The Obamas were reportedly able to ignore the small group of protesters outside their home. The protesters were holding signs that said things like “Close Guantanamo Now!” and “No more drone killings.”

Just before noon, President Obama headed to the Marine Corps Base Hawaii on Kaneohe Bay to play golf with friends Mike Brush, Joe Paulsen and Bobby Titcomb.

The president’s game was interrupted when he was briefed about the slaying of two NYPD officers over the weekend. Unfazed, the president continued with his golf game.

Afterwards, Obama headed back to his vacation home late in the afternoon. By then, the protesters had left, and the only sign remaining said, “Welcome Obama Ohana.” The first family then spent the rest of the evening together at home.

Judging from the first day of his vacation, it doesn’t look like the president will be letting America’s troubles ruin his good time. Soak it up, Barry, you only have 16 DAYS left!
