Michael Brown’s stepfather is still in hot water over the threats he made during a riot to “burn this b*tch down.”
The threats happened as Mike Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, spoke during a riot. When protesters encouraged her husband, Louis Head, to join her, he replied, “if I get up there, I’m gonna start a riot.”
Head eventually did join her, at which point he encouraged the crowd to “burn this b*tch down.”
Head later apologized for the incident, most likely acting on the advice of his attorneys. The stepfather said that because of his emotional state, he “screamed out words that I shouldn’t have screamed out in the heat of the moment.”
If Head thought that this apology would be his “get out of jail free card,” he thought very wrong. Local authorities have made a point of saying that their investigation continues to be “ongoing.”
Do you think Head will be charged for inciting a riot? Sound off in the comments below!
