Peter Kinder is Missouri’s no-nonsense Lt. Governor who isn’t afraid to tell is like it is. During a press conference on Monday, Kinder let the world know who is really to blame for what is happening in Ferguson: Al Sharpton.
“He is an inciter of mobs, and he demands mob justice,” he said of Sharpton, after being asked about the black activist traveling to New York to protest against police there. Sharpton arrived there last week to protest the death of Eric Garner, a black man who died while in a chokehold as he was arrested by police.
“In my view, they should not be working with him,” Kinder added, warning New York protesters that Sharpton is far more dangerous than he appears to be.
Sharpton arrived in New York just after the Ferguson grand jury decision was released, and he quickly succeeded in bringing the Missouri riots to the major city.
“Let the clock stop and the countdown [begin] on what will the grand jury say about justice!” he told an angry crowd of New York protesters, before leading a chant of “Countdown! Countdown!”
Kinder is not the first person to blame Al Sharpton for the violence in Ferguson. On her show last week, Megyn Kelly said Sharpton “went out there and stoked the fires by giving them misinformation after misinformation, never to be corrected.”
