An ex-Canadian soldier who flew to Iraq to fight against the Islamic State captured some incredible footage of his efforts on a GoPro camera. Dillon Hillier, the son of a conservative member of provincial parliament in Ontario, said “I accomplished more good in those 20 hours than the previous 26 years of my life.” He is seen in the above video unloading an M16 on ISIS forces.
Hillier can be seen in another clip, rendering aid to a wounded man. “I dragged a man who had been shot in the face to safety and patched him while many others stood around not doing anything,” he said.
