Things got serious fast on Tuesday night when Bill O’Reilly made an appearance on The Tonight Show as Ferguson descended into chaos.
Touching upon the riots, host Jimmy Fallon said he thought it was very strange that prosecutor Bob McCulloch chose to present the grand jury decision at nighttime, a primetime for riots.
O’Reilly had a surprising answer to this: he thinks McCulloch purposely scheduled the press conference at night so that he could tell the American people the decision on primetime television. He thinks McCulloch wanted to make sure the whole country knew what was happening, and that everyone also knew that he had done all that he could.
“Wow, that’s crazy!” a stunned Fallon replied.
What do you think about O’Reilly’s theory? Is it crazy, or does it make sense? Sound off in the comments below!
