ST. LOUIS, Missouri – Ferguson is preparing itself for the upcoming grand jury decision on whether or not to charge Darren Wilson, but not in the way you might think…
New reports say many Ferguson residents are buying guns and receiving training at shooting ranges as they prepare for violence if Officer Wilson is not charged.
While some citizens are buying guns to fight police, others are arming themselves for protection against the angry thugs who are prepared to do anything to avenge Michael Brown.
Ferguson mayor James Knowles commented that the increase in gun sales is “a little frightening” and that he has warned police to watch out for new gun owners who could be “less trained and may not have… restraint.”
Meanwhile, Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, will appear before the UN this week to call for the resignation of Ferguson’s police chief. She also believes the Ferguson police department should be taken over by the federal government.
McSpadden has her own legal issues to worry about now, as she could be charged with felony armed robbery any day now for a violent incident that occurred last month.
The grand jury ruling could come down any day now, and when it does, the chaos in Ferguson is sure to reach new heights.
