According to Forbes’ annual list of the world’s most influential people, Vladimir Putin is more powerful than Obama. For the second year in a row, Putin tops the list, beating out the President of the United States. This really hasn’t been a good week for Obama!

Putin has been named the most influential world leader over Obama for a number of reasons. For one, his New Year’s resolution was to completely obliterate terrorism. Obama, on the other hand, was found to have rendered aid to the same terrorists he claims to be fighting now. Putin likes to hunt bears shirtless, while Obama prefers mom jeans and an ice cream cone. The list goes on and on.

Coming in third was China’s unelected leader Xi Jinping. Pope Francis was fourth. Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was a newcomer to the list, debuting at 54.

It’s a sad day when the leader of the free world has less influence over global affairs than Russian strongman Vladimir Putin. However, Obama has done so much damage in the last six years that perhaps it’s a good thing his influence has been diminished. Additionally, the fact that the leader of the most brutal terrorist organization in the world made Forbes’ list is a sorry reminder that terrorism is on the rise, thanks to Obama’s failed leadership.
