Lena admits in her book that she “experiment[ed] sexually with her younger sister Grace,” “experimented with her six-year younger sister’s vagina,” and “use[d] her little sister at times essentially as a sexual outlet.” All this, yet Grace Dunham does not think it should be characterized as abuse. She came to her sister’s defense over Twitter.

Grace Dunham may not characterize her sitter’s behavior as “harmful,” but she is clearly too close to the situation to be objective. She would likely not be homosexual today if it were not for the abuse she suffered as a child. This sort of incestuous deviance is what turns many impressionable youths towards homosexuality, which is a learned behavior, not a natural act.
