Obama’s State Department will be lifting an exclusion in their health care plans which prevents transgendered employees from receiving medical care related to their sexuality. Previously, government employees had to pay out of pocket for gender reassignment surgery, but now they’ll be able to undergo these procedures on the tax-payer’s dime.

Secretary of State John Kerry gave a statement on this ridiculous new policy to The Washington Post:

“It’s about fairness and respect for our employees, but it’s also about showing the world we mean what we say and say what we mean. It’s tough to tell other countries to provide equal opportunity if we’re not living that out ourselves. So this matters in many ways. I’ve met transgendered colleagues at the Department and in addition to being brave and strong, they’re just good officers. Why should they have it any different when it comes to health care?”

While countless veterans wait months to see a doctor, some dying before receiving the treatment they need, the Obama Administration has decided to focus their efforts on providing sex change operations for their confused employees. Let us know how that makes you feel in the comments section.
