Steve Green, Hobby Lobby’s Pentecostal president, is leading the development of the National Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. Atheists and liberals alike have been furious over the new museum, and it looks as though their heads are about to explode in disgust.
Green has been the target of harsh criticism from the Left, after the Supreme Court ruled that his company could legally opt out of the contraception mandate included in the Affordable Care Act. Feminazis blasted the ruling, saying it set women back decades. The leftwing media conveniently chose to overlook the fact that Hobby Lobby still offers female employees 16 different types of birth control, only leaving the harshest abortifacients out of their medical coverage due to the founders’ Christian beliefs.
However, it looks like criticism from the Left has done nothing to quell Green’s commitment to his faith. The Conservative Tribune revealed that the National Museum of the Bible is scheduled to open in 2017. Green chose D.C. for it’s location over other megacities like Dallas and New York, because studies indicated that it would receive the most traffic in the nation’s capital. The 430,000-square-foot building, which is being privately funded, will be an impressive eight stories high.
“When you look at the impact of this book, it’s one of those with an incredible story to be told. What we want to do is just present the information [about the Bible], letting the visitor decide what they want to do with the information. This book has had such an impact, we ought to know about it. And that’s what we want to do, is let people know about this book that has impacted their life.”
With the National Museum of the Bible underway, it undoubtedly won’t take radical Muslims long to demand a National Museum of the Koran. Are you looking forward to visiting this national treasure once it’s complete? Tell us in the comments section!
