Mr. President, what happened to your phone and your pen? It seems Obama is unwilling to intervene on behalf of a veteran in the Afghan war like he did  for MIA Bergdahl who presumably deserted his post on purpose.

At a recent press conference, a reporter asked the White House Press Secretary, Josh Earnest, if the president was going to address the issue of Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, who has been held in a Mexican jail.

Earnest refused to answer the question and was disrespectful towards the issue as a whole. He smugly said, “My colleagues at the State Department are very focused on this issue. And so, I’d refer you to them for their efforts to work with the Mexican government.”

Essentially, Earnest brushed the question off and belittled the problem.

Though the President has taken no action himself, the U.S. public has been assured by the Press Secretary that the State Department has this matter under control. It has been six months and our government has been aware of the accidental nature of Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi’s unlawful entrance into Mexico since day one. What reasonable American isn’t wondering why these hearings are just now occurring? If we were willing to trade 5 known terrorists for a single possible traitor, perhaps an offer to the Mexican government is also in order. How about 11 million unlawful entrants into our country? Mexico can have them all, Americans just want our Marine back. This injustice is unacceptable.
