40-year-old Andrew J. Marsico was arrested Saturday on sexual assault charges. The alleged incident took place on August 21 in Center City at around 10pm. Marsico met his unidentified 27-year-old victim at an event at a private club.
The alleged assault took place inside of Marsico’s Philadelphia office, after the lobbyist lured his victim to the Bellevue location under the guise that he would be interviewing her for a job.
Marsico, who is the husband of ABC reporter Annie McCormick, has been placed on leave by Greenlee Partners, where he works as a lobbyist. He is currently out on $100,000 bail, pending his preliminary hearing set for 11am on October 9.
Andrew Marsico married 6ABC reporter Annie McCormick last year.

Greenlee Partners announced today:
“Effective immediately, we have placed Mr. Marsico on administrative leave from the firm. These allegations are inconsistent with the values of our firm, and we believe this move is best for all parties at this time. The court system is the appropriate venue to address these allegations. Therefore, we believe it is inappropriate to comment further at this time. As we move forward, our thoughts are with the families involved.”
“My client maintains his innocence, and we are continuing to review the allegations and charges,” said Fortunato N. Perri, Marsico’s attorney.
