Target’s Idea Of The Typical American Family May Surprise You

Earlier this month, Target shocked the nation when they spoke out in support of gay marriage. Now, the chain store has released a new ad that is meant to highlight the typical American family, but two of it’s stars may shock you.

The “Made to Matter” ad shows two gay dads bonding with their child over painting. The ad makes it even more clear that Target is spitting in the face of Christianity and tradition by promoting a homosexual lifestyle.

A representative for the store said the new ad “represents and celebrates” Target’s commitment to diversity.

“Target is committed to diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business, including our marketing efforts,” the rep said, according to The Huffington Post. “The casting of this couple and their son is in line with previous marketing that Target has created including our wedding registry ad campaigns that have been running for the past several years.”

While the liberal media has been extremely supportive of Target’s new ad, not everyone has been singing their praises. Matt Barber, vice-president of the Liberty Counsel Action, said that Target’s new stance is a “slap in the face to millions of pro-family customers.”
