Liberal ideology seems intent, for some reason, on the constant criticization and ultimate destruction of the Christian religion. Degrading the religion that this nation was founded upon has been made even more clear as a recent racist challenge has been sweeping the internet – it’s called the “Burn Cracker Jesus” challenge.

Explained as removing the idea that Jesus was a white man from the minds of Americans due to the depiction given usually by the Catholic church, blacks have begun to burn a photo of Jesus in order to metaphorically demonstrate their abandonment their preconceived notions.

The video was posted by “Mr. Savannah Black” who explains, “This will be the hardest challenge for most black folks to do,” he said. “In order for you to free your mind you must get rid of this image from your subconscious, in order to have real liberation of the self.”

He then proceeded to burn two photos of “cracker Jesus.”

According to Mad World News though:

However, for those who are more concerned with aesthetics than they are with values, it’s easy to see why this would be an issue. This is presumably why a writer for the liberal rag The Atlantic stoked the racial flames and said, “If he were taking the red-eye flight from San Francisco to New York today, Jesus might be profiled for additional security screening by TSA.”

There are things that would be considered “too far” when it comes to the religions outside of Christianity. Imagine, if you will, the outrage that would spring forward from something like the “burn Allah,” challenge.

That being said, is the harsh nature in the challenge necessary to remove these long settled perceptions from the minds of Americans or is this just taking things too far?
